Matt Gingold is an audiovisual artist with over 15 years professional experience. He has worked extensively across live performance, interaction, museum and gallery installation projects.
For the last two years he has also been working in the academic and scientific context as a machine learning and computer vision researcher investigating new algorithms for performance, motion capture and human user interaction.
Currently he is experimenting with electromechanical devices and new approaches to generating, controlling and dispersing audio and light.
His work has been exhibited and performed widely, receiving awards and honorary fellowships especially in the area of interactivity, av design, computer vision, machine learning and dance/somatic intelligence.
Since 2015 he lives and works from Berlin and Halle (an der Saale), DE.
